LANDING PAGE- Brick By Brick
With the Adopt a Village Brick by Brick: Schoolbuilding campaign, you raise money to build a new school from the ground up. With a quality education, kids learn the skills they need to break out of poverty, protect their own rights and see that their future children go to school.
LANDING PHOTO-Child Labour
Free The Children was started because 12-year-old Craig Kielburger found out about child labour and couldn’t stand by while other kids his age were doing dangerous work. Keeping children out of jobs that hurt their healthy development is still at the heart of everything we do.
Vow of Silence
Take part in the Vow of Silence campaign and stand together with children around the world who are silenced by poverty by promising to stay silent for one day. Collect pledges from friends and family who support your vow. Make a statement, without speaking at all.
Craig’s Welcome
Craig Kielburger founded Free The Children when he was only 12 years old. This section is all about what Craig’s up to in his travels around the world. Whether he’s meeting with world leaders or digging a hole for a new well in a dusty village, the goal is always helping people build a better world.

This year, throw a party in recognition of children who have never had the chance to celebrate their birthdays. The Celebrate for Change campaign helps you fundraise by organizing a big celebration with a group or a special party for your own birthday.

Water And Sanitation Poster
Free The Children’s Adopt a Village Clean Water campaign helps you support the construction of a new clean water project in a rural village. Clean, safe drinking water lets children go to school because they’re healthier and don’t have to walk long distances to collect water for their families.

LANDING PHOTO-Povert
Poverty is when people don’t have the basic things they need to survive. It’s often called a cycle, because it traps families through generations. Free The Children’s development work helps families break this cycle forever.
LANDING PAGE-Education
When Free The Children was first started by a group of 12 year olds, we began with education projects because we knew they were the solution to child labour. Today education projects are still the biggest part of our work because we know they’re the solution to everything. When a child gets an education, they can better support their own children, and generations of poverty can end. But for millions and millions, education just isn’t possible.
Free The Children Promotional Video
This section explores the world’s biggest issues and tells you how Free The Children takes them on. From the places we work and the programs we run to the staff of young people who make it happen.

The event was great. When I first heard, “Me to We,” I didn’t really “get it.” Too busy with my everyday life, etc…
But after hearing Craig, I’m reminded of the larger world around me and how good I felt when I used to volunteer consistently. The stories were an inspiration. Thanks!
